A little bit about me, I have been writing since I was 8. I have wanted to be a published author since I was 8. I'm now 29. Over the course of the last 21 years, I have been writing almost daily. I majored in English: Creative Writing and graduated with my Bachelors of Fine Arts at Western Kentucky University back in 2018.

I now work in journalism, writing newscasts so I can indeed tell my parents that I am using my degree in my every day job. I would love to write novels full time but that is a far off dream. Or maybe not. I have done what only 3% of people in the world have done and that's finish a book! So maybe that book will never see the light of day in terms of publishing but I wrote a book that came to its natural conclusion and typed those magic words: THE END.

That was August of 2019.

​

Since then I have started and put aside a few different WIPs, knowing that either I need a little bit longer before I'm ready to write for those genres, realize they aren't for me to write, or I just hit massive writer's block and burnout. Writing is just as much about telling a story as it is about finding out about yourself.
